The COPYCENTER in the administration building will take over the previous services and become the central point of contact.

Anyone at Ruhr University Bochum who wants to print lecture notes, have a thesis bound, or have posters and other printed materials produced can now find all these services at the DRUCKZENTRUM. The COPYCENTER in the Student Service Center (SSC) is closing. The services previously offered there will be taken over by the DRUCKZENTRUM in the University Administration (UV).

What does this mean for users?

The most important thing is that the usual printing and copying services will remain available. These include, among other things, printouts and copies, scans, binding, as well as the production and processing of theses, lecture notes, and posters. Only the self-service printing stations will be discontinued. Anyone who needs to print something can bring the file on a storage device or send it via email.

The main change, therefore, is the location: All orders and pickups will now be handled by the DRUCKZENTRUM on Level 01, Room 46 in the UV building (basement).

Who does the DRUCKZENTRUM serve?

The DRUCKZENTRUM’s services are available to students, RUB employees, faculties, departments, administrative units, and companies, as well as members of the general public.
